Original Uwell Crown 5 replacement coils

Uwell Crown 5 Mesh coilsare replacement coils designed for the Uwell Crown 5, or Crown V, clearomizer. The entire series uses a Mesh construction and is primarily focused on DL vaping, high vapor production, and excellent flavor rendering.

Compared to a standard coiled wire, the Mesh coil has a larger surface area. As a result, the e-liquid heats up faster and more evenly, and the coil is capable of handling the high wattages typical for sub-ohm clearomizers.

You can choose between three variants – 0.2 ohm UN2-3 Triple Mesh, 0.23 ohm UN2 Mesh, and 0.3 ohm UN2-2 Dual Mesh.

Uwell Crown 5 UN2-3 Triple Mesh 0.2 ohm

The 0.2 ohm UN2-3variant uses a triple Mesh construction. It is a very low-resistance coil designed for direct-to-lung inhalation and significant vapor production.

The recommended power is 65–70 W.

Thanks to the Triple Mesh construction, it works with several active heating surfaces simultaneously, which allows for rapid heating and intensive evaporation of the e-liquid.

Uwell Crown 5 UN2 Mesh 0.23 ohm

The 0.23 ohm UN2 Meshvariant uses a single Mesh coil and is also focused on an airy DL draw.

It operates in the recommended range of 65–70 Wand offers high vapor production and a warmer sensation.

Uwell Crown 5 UN2-2 Dual Mesh 0.3 ohm

The 0.3 ohm UN2-2 Meshvariant uses a dual Mesh construction and operates at a lower wattage than the other two variants.

The recommended power is 50–55 W. Thanks to the higher resistance and lower wattage, it offers a slightly smoother draw and lower power consumption than the 0.2 and 0.23 ohm variants.

Which Crown 5 coil should you choose?

0.2 ohm UN2-3 Triple Mesh– triple Mesh construction, 65–70 W, and significant vapor production.

0.23 ohm UN2 Mesh– Single Mesh, 65–70 W, and the classic airy DL draw of the Crown 5.

0.3 ohm UN2-2 Dual Mesh– Dual Mesh, lower power of 50–55 W, and a slightly smoother draw.

All three variants are sub-ohm coils for DL vaping. These are not high-resistance MTL coils.

Uwell Crown 5 compatibility

These replacement coils are designed for the Uwell Crown 5 / Crown V Tank.

They are not automatically compatible with other Crown generations or the Caliburn series. Therefore, always check the exact designation of your clearomizer before ordering.

If you use Caliburn POD systems with replaceable coils, take a look at the Uwell Caliburn G replacement coil. For newer devices with integrated coils, the Uwell Caliburn GPP cartridge 2 ml 4-packis intended, for example.

First use of a new coil

Before using a new Uwell Crown 5 coil for the first time, we recommend dripping a few drops of e-liquid directly onto the visible cotton in the coil openings.

After installing the coil, fill the tank and let the e-liquid soak into the cotton for a few minutes. When using for the first time, start at the lower limit of the recommended power and then adjust the wattage according to your preferred experience.

Replace the coil when the flavor deteriorates, vapor production drops, or a burnt taste occurs.
