Dual Mesh and two ECO / BOOST modes
The OXVA VPRIME 2 uses new Dual Mesh cartridges featuring UNITECH 3.0 technology. Two mesh heating surfaces let you adjust the draw without changing the cartridge.
BOOST uses both mesh surfaces for more intense flavor and greater vapor production.
ECO operates more efficiently, focusing on lower power consumption and longer cartridge life.
UNITECH 3.0 technology features redesigned airflow and a construction that better captures condensation. According to the manufacturer, this helps reduce e-liquid leakage.
Compatible OXVA VPRIME cartridges
You can use two types of refillable 2 ml cartridges with the VPRIME 2.
OXVA VPRIME Dual Mesh cartridge – 2 ml, 2 pcs
The newer UNITECH 3.0 generation supports ECO and BOOST:
- 0.4 ohm: More powerful RDL to DL draw, with greater vapor production.
- 0.6 ohm: Tighter RDL draw with lower power consumption.
OXVA VPRIME Pod cartridge – 2 ml, 2 pcs
The original UNITECH 2.0 Mesh cartridge, available in a wider range of resistances:
- 0.2 ohm: DL, recommended power 45–60 W.
- 0.4 ohm: RDL, recommended power 28–38 W.
- 0.6 ohm: RDL / MTL, recommended power 20–25 W.
- 0.8 ohm: MTL, recommended power 12–18 W.
Important: The ECO and BOOST modes that use Dual Mesh are designed for the new VPRIME Dual Mesh cartridges. The original VPRIME cartridges use standard mesh heating.
Both cartridge types are also compatible with the original OXVA VPRIME device. However, they are not compatible with the XLIM or NeXLIM systems.
3400 mAh battery and USB-C charging
The integrated 3400 mAh battery offers approximately 30% more capacity than the original VPRIME, which has a 2600 mAh battery.
USB-C charging supports 5 V / 3 A. The manufacturer states that it can charge to approximately 50% in 20 minutes under suitable conditions.
Actual battery life depends on the power setting, cartridge resistance and intensity of use.
Display, controls and draw adjustment
The color 0.98″ display shows the set power, battery status, active mode and puff counter.
The device can be activated automatically by inhaling or by pressing the button. The manufacturer states that the automatic activation responds in approximately 0.01 seconds.
The side airflow control lets you adjust the amount of incoming air. A separate sliding button lock helps prevent accidental presses.
A lighter alternative for everyday MTL and RDL use
If you’re looking for a similarly modern POD but prefer a lighter device and a tighter MTL/RDL draw, the OXVA NeXLIM 2 may be a better choice. It weighs approximately 88.5 g compared with 150 g for the VPRIME 2, has a slimmer body and uses UNITECH 3.0 Dual Mesh cartridges.
However, it’s important to consider the trade-off: the NeXLIM 2 has a 2000 mAh battery and output of up to 40 W. If you want maximum output of 60 W, a larger 3400 mAh battery and a more open DL draw, the VPRIME 2 is a better fit.
