Replacement heating head for the Eleaf GTL system
The iSmoka-Eleaf GTL heating head serves as a replaceable consumable part for compatible GTL Pod Tanks and Eleaf electronic cigarettes. Organic cotton inside delivers e-liquid to the coil, where it evaporates evenly upon device activation.
By choosing the correct resistance, you can influence the amount of vapor, flavor intensity, e-liquid consumption, and the overall character of the draw.
0.4 ohm variant
The GTL 0.4 ohm uses a mesh coil and operates in the recommended range of 20–30 W. It is intended primarily for direct lung inhalation, or DL.
A lower resistance offers a fast ramp-up time, more significant vapor production, and intense flavor delivery. Compared to higher resistances, it has higher e-liquid and energy consumption.
0.8 ohm variant
The GTL 0.8 ohm uses a Kanthal coil and operates in the 12–18 W range. It is suitable for classic MTL vaping and provides a balanced ratio between flavor, vapor volume, and e-liquid consumption.
This is a versatile option for users who prefer a smoother draw and lower power than the 0.4 ohm head.
1.2 ohm variant
The GTL 1.2 ohm is a Kanthal heating head designed for a tight MTL draw similar to a traditional cigarette. The recommended power is between 7–13 W.
Higher resistance results in less vapor, lower e-liquid consumption, and gentler battery usage. This variant is also suitable for vaping e-liquids with a higher nicotine content.
First use of a new heating head
Before inserting a new head, drip a few drops of e-liquid onto the visible cotton in the center and the side openings. Then, insert the heating head into the tank, fill with e-liquid, and let it sit for approximately 10 minutes.
Allowing the cotton to saturate sufficiently helps prevent the new heating head from burning out during the first few puffs.
Compatible electronic cigarettes
GTL heating heads are compatible with multiple devices and tanks that use the Eleaf GTL platform. These include the iSmoka-Eleaf iJust 3 GTL, which comes with 0.4 ohm and 0.8 ohm resistances in the basic package.
