Aspire Nautilus – three resistances for different vaping styles

Aspire Nautilus BVC coil 1 pc | 0.7–1.8 ohmoffers three popular resistances for the Aspire Nautilus platform. This allows you to choose between the more powerful 0.7 ohm coil and the classic high-resistance 1.6 and 1.8 ohm BVC coils.

The individual variants differ in recommended wattage, vaping style, and compatibility with some older Nautilus tanks.

0.7 ohm – 18 to 23 W

The 0.7 ohmvariant offers the highest power of the three. It is suitable for a looser MTL to RDL draw, warmer vapor, and higher vapor production.

Aspire officially designates it as the Nautilus 2 Coil 0.7 ohm, as it was originally introduced with the Nautilus 2 model. However, it is commonly categorized as a Nautilus BVC coil on the Czech market, so we offer it together with the 1.6 and 1.8 ohm versions for easier selection.

Recommended wattage: 18–23 W.

1.6 ohm BVC – 7 to 11 W

1.6 ohmis a classic Nautilus BVC coil for a tight MTL draw and lower wattage.

The vertically positioned Bottom Vertical Coil is designed for a calmer vaping experience with less vapor production than the 0.7 ohm variant.

Recommended wattage: 7–11 W.

1.8 ohm BVC – 10 to 14 W

1.8 ohmis another traditional BVC variant for a tight MTL style. It operates at 10–14 Wand is suitable for a wide range of compatible Nautilus devices.

Do not confuse it with the special NS BVC 1.8 ohmwith a green seal, which is designed primarily for the Nautilus AIO.

Compatibility with Aspire Nautilus devices

Compatibility is not exactly the same for all three resistances.

0.7 ohmis supported by, for example, Nautilus Nano, Nautilus 3, Nautilus 3 22, Nautilus 3S, Nautilus 3SR, and Nautilus GT II.

1.6 ohmis compatible with, for example, Nautilus Mini, Nautilus Nano, Nautilus 3, Nautilus 3 22, Nautilus 3S, Nautilus 3SR, and Nautilus GT II.

1.8 ohmis supported by, among others, Nautilus Mini, Nautilus Nano, Nautilus 3, Nautilus 3 22, Nautilus 3S, Nautilus 3SR, Nautilus GT II, and K3 Tank.

Always verify your specific tank model before purchasing, especially if you are using an older device.

Nautilus BVC vs. regular Aspire BVC

Similar names can be confusing. Aspire also uses an older BVC series intended for the K1, K2, or CE5, for example. However, these are a different type of coil.

For these devices, select Aspire BVC coil 1 pc | 1.6–2.1 ohm.

Conversely, if you are looking for a more modern mesh coil for the Nautilus platform, take a look at the Aspire Nautilus Mesh coil 1 pc | 0.3 and 1.0 ohm.

How to choose the right resistance

0.7 ohm– if you want higher power and a looser draw
1.6 ohm– if you prefer a tight MTL at very low power
1.8 ohm– if you want a classic MTL draw at 10–14 W

When choosing, however, compatibility with the specific tank should always take precedence over the resistance itself.
