ABT Anti-Burn – cartridge burn protection
The most notable new feature of the OXVA XLIM PRO 4 is ABT (Anti-Burn Tech), which uses intelligent e-liquid level detection.
If the liquid level in a compatible cartridge drops too low, the device can display a refill warning and stop firing. This helps prevent accidental dry hits and damage to the cartridge’s heating element.
Important: The ABT function requires an OXVA XLIM ABT UNITECH 3.0 cartridge. With standard compatible XLIM cartridges, the device works as usual, but ABT protection is not active.
1800 mAh battery and fast charging
The integrated 1800 mAh battery offers 20% more capacity than the XLIM PRO 3.
The device supports USB-C charging at 5 V / 3 A. The manufacturer states that a quick 10-minute charge is possible. Actual charging speed depends on the cable and adapter used, as well as the battery’s condition.
For longer use with reduced power consumption, ECO Mode is available. It reduces display brightness, animations and lighting effects.
HD display, Pulse System and controls
The color 0.98″ HD display shows the battery level, set power, puff count and other operating information. It also provides an overview of charging progress while the device is charging.
Power can be adjusted from 5 to 30 W. Pulse System adjusts the power delivery to provide a more consistent vaping experience.
The device can be activated automatically by inhaling or by pressing the button. Precise side airflow control lets you set a tighter MTL or looser RDL draw.
Compatible OXVA XLIM cartridges
The OXVA XLIM PRO 4 remains compatible with XLIM system cartridges. However, not all of them support the Anti-Burn function.
- OXVA XLIM ABT UNITECH 3.0 – 2 ml, 3 pcs – special cartridges featuring Smart Liquid-Level Detection for full use of Anti-Burn. Resistances: 0.4 / 0.6 / 0.8 / 1.2 ohm.
- OXVA XLIM Top Fill UNITECH 3.0 – 2 ml, 3 pcs – top-fill design with an integrated heating element. When used with the PRO 4, they work without ABT protection.
- OXVA XLIM V3 Top Fill – 2 ml, 3 pcs – available resistances: 0.4 / 0.6 / 0.8 / 1.2 ohm. ABT is not active.
- OXVA XLIM Empty – 2 ml – empty cartridge system with a replaceable XLIM coil for standard use without ABT protection.
How to choose the right resistance
- 0.4 ohm: Looser RDL draw and higher power.
- 0.6 ohm: A versatile setting between a looser MTL and RDL draw.
- 0.8 ohm: Tighter MTL draw.
- 1.2 ohm: Significantly tighter MTL draw at lower power.
NeXLIM system cartridges are not interchangeable with the XLIM PRO 4. The special XLIM Top Fill SS cartridges for the Pro 2 DNA are not designed to activate the ABT system.
What has changed compared to the XLIM PRO 3?
The previous OXVA XLIM PRO 3 has a 1500 mAh battery, a 1.05″ display and up to 30 W of power.
- ABT Anti-Burn: Detects low e-liquid levels in ABT cartridges.
- Battery: 1800 mAh instead of 1500 mAh.
- Charging: 3 A compared to 2 A.
- ECO Mode: More energy-efficient display operation.
The display on the new model is slightly smaller (0.98″ instead of 1.05″). The main reasons to upgrade to the PRO 4 are ABT protection and the higher battery capacity.
