Three power levels: Low, Medium, and High

The OXVA XLIM 4 offers an easier way to adjust power than devices with a traditional display. Instead of manually setting a specific wattage, you choose one of three intensity levels.

• Low: A gentler, smoother draw with lower energy consumption.
• Medium: A balanced setting for everyday use.
• High: A more intense draw with increased aerosol production.

Switch between modes by double-pressing the button. The device adjusts the power output to suit the cartridge used, within an overall range of 5–30 W.

Draw activation is automatic, so you don't need to press the button during normal use.

Ring Light: clear controls without a display

The standout design feature is the circular Ring Light indicator around the control button.

Press once to check the battery status and currently selected power level. The battery charge level is indicated by color:

• Green: 65–100% battery.
• Blue: 30–65% battery.
• Red: 0–30% battery.

The Ring Light also offers two switchable lighting effects. This gives you an overview of the basic functions without the need for a traditional display.

1600 mAh battery and fast USB-C charging

The built-in battery has a capacity of 1600 mAh, which is more than the 1500 mAh batteries in the XLIM GO 2 and XLIM 3 Ultra models.

Charging is via USB-C at 5 V / 2 A. A charging cable is included.

OXVA uses electronics in this model designed to deliver more stable performance as the battery gradually discharges. According to the manufacturer's laboratory comparison, the Pulse system helps limit the drop in flavor intensity when the battery charge is low.

Actual battery life and flavor depend on usage intensity, cartridge resistance, power setting, and the e-liquid used.

UNITECH 3.0 cartridge: new heating technology and top filling

The package includes an XLIM Top Fill UNITECH 3.0 cartridge with a resistance of 0.8 ohm and a capacity of 2 ml.

This generation brings several design improvements:

• Top filling: You can refill the e-liquid without removing the cartridge from the device.
• Integrated coil: The entire cartridge is replaced when it wears out.
• Improved e-liquid supply: The optimized structure of the wicking material promotes even saturation.
• Leak protection: The redesigned seal and base help reduce e-liquid leaks.

The manufacturer states that the cartridge saturates quickly, in approximately 30 seconds after filling. Always follow the instructions included with the product before using it for the first time.

Which cartridge resistance should you choose?

The XLIM 4 supports four cartridge resistances. Each is suited to a slightly different draw style.

• 0.4 ohm: Recommended power: 26–30 W. A looser RDL draw with increased aerosol production.
• 0.6 ohm: Recommended power: 20–25 W. A more versatile setting between MTL and RDL.
• 0.8 ohm: Recommended power: 12–16 W. A classic, tighter MTL draw. This resistance is included in the package.
• 1.2 ohm: Recommended power: 10–12 W. A very tight MTL draw.

The values shown are the manufacturer's recommended ranges for the cartridges. The XLIM 4 uses three intensity levels rather than manual adjustment of the precise power output.

Compatible OXVA XLIM cartridges

The manufacturer lists two compatible ranges of refillable cartridges for the XLIM 4:

• OXVA XLIM Top Fill UNITECH 3.0 – 2 ml, pack of 3 – a newer generation with an improved e-liquid feed and leak-resistant design.
• OXVA XLIM Top Fill V3 – 2 ml, pack of 3 – a proven range with top filling.

Both ranges are available in 0.4 / 0.6 / 0.8 / 1.2 ohm resistances.

NeXLIM cartridges are not interchangeable with the XLIM 4 device.

Side airflow for MTL and RDL

A slider on the side of the device lets you adjust the airflow smoothly.

A more restricted airflow gives you a tighter MTL draw, similar to smoking a traditional cigarette. A more open setting provides a looser RDL draw.

The resistance of the cartridge used also affects how tight the draw feels.

XLIM 4 vs. XLIM 3 Ultra

Both models use XLIM cartridges, but differ primarily in how they are operated.

• XLIM 4: 1600 mAh battery, Ring Light indicator, and three simple power levels.
• XLIM 3 Ultra: 1500 mAh battery, large 2.2″ touchscreen, detailed settings, and usage statistics.

If you want simple controls and a clear light indicator, the XLIM 4 is a good choice. The XLIM 3 Ultra is better suited to those who want more detailed settings and touchscreen controls.
